The Scotty Firefighter Product Division requires an Inside Sales/Data Entry Specialist to join our team. While daily duties and contact will vary, the basics of this position involve providing customer service through phone calls and emails and processing customer orders through our order entry system. This employee will also be trained in the technical use of all Scotty Firefighter products.
Sales Responsibilities and Duties:
- Learn the Scotty Firefighter product line to be able to answer customer inquiries
- Provide prompt customer service through phone and email contact
- Order entry of customer purchase orders into internal system
- Provide customers with product pricing and shipping quotes
- Provide information to customers for status of orders in the system, as well as shipping and tracking information when requested
- Creating shipping/customs documents for orders when required
- Maintaining organized file storage for past invoices and customers POs
- Providing distribution of marketing info/sales sheets/price info to Dealers and End users
- Other duties as required
Skills and Competencies:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional phone communication
- Skilled in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe and confidence in learning new computer systems
- Background in customer service or data entry an asset
- Knowledge of French or Spanish is an asset, but not a requirement
